- Record Execution arrangements and Witness requirement from approved sources. Specify Report recipient and expected report identification while leaving test outcomes to the subsequently issued report.
Who prepares and reviews it
A quality engineer or discipline inspector prepares the request with the sampler, laboratory and site team. The responsible specialist checks method applicability; witnessing and acceptance responsibilities follow the actual inspection plan and contract arrangements.
A mistake to avoid
Requesting a generic material test without the applicable method or sample identity can produce a valid laboratory result that cannot support the project's acceptance decision.
