Learning
Use this record when agreed training is delivered to the receiving operations or maintenance team. Prepare its scope beforehand and complete it from actual attendance, materials and assessment evidence after the session.
It shows what training occurred and what competence remains unproven. The receiving organization can plan follow-up or supervised practice without confusing attendance with demonstrated capability or authorization to operate equipment.
The trainer and handover coordinator compile records with participant and operator representatives. Competent assessors review evidence where required; authorization to perform operational tasks remains with the employer's or operator's designated authority.
Do not label all attendees competent solely from a signed attendance sheet; competence and operating authorization require their own applicable assessment and decision process.
Illustrative example: operators attend a generator control session and practice routine start-up. The record links the training materials and assessment evidence while noting that fault recovery was not demonstrated. The operator schedules further supervised training before expanding the team's assigned tasks.
